Poll Results: 79% of Americans Are Against Gun Control Legislation.
In 1994 there were 263 million Americans who owned an estimated 192 million guns. By 2009, 306 million Americans owned an estimated 310 million guns. It’s official, our country now has more guns than people.
The Democratic party would have you believe another big chunk of the sky is falling saying things like, because of the rise in the number of guns, your children will probably be shot dead by an angry teen with an assault rifle. The real numbers show a different story.
It turns out, as the number of guns in the U.S. goes up, the number of deaths by firearms GOES DOWN in the same period.
According to the Small Arms Survey and the 2012 Congressional Research Service Report, as reported in October 2016 by Breitbart.com, the “firearm-related murder and non-negligent homicide” rate was 6.6 per 100,000 in 1993, and it dropped to 3.2 per 100,000 in 2011. In fact, the U.S. didn’t even make the top-10 list for deaths by firearms. The countries in the top 10 were primarily Central and South American countries.
So what does all this mean? Well, it means, if we’re going strictly by these numbers, the more guns we have, the safer we are. And all the more reason that Hillary Clinton and her corrupt party of gun grabbers should not be allowed anywhere near our Second Amendment.
Want less crime? Buy more guns.
