In an interesting turn of allegiance, Lindsay Lohan has taken to the defense of President Trump, using Twitter as her weapon of choice. The Tweet was in response to outrage concerning Trump’s comments about the CNN logo. Lohan called for the American public to “stop bullying” Trump, and asked Americans to stop judging others.
During the presidential race, Lohan was a stout Hillary supporter until Trump even after the election. In a Tweet that has since been deleted, Lohan told followers to “Retweet if you want a recount.”
President Trump has been criticized for his previous commentary considering Lohan. Speaking as a guest on The Howard Stern Show, Trump offered up his opinions concerning his view of Lohan’s potential sexual capabilities. Suggesting that Ms. Lohan was”deeply disturbed,” Trump talked of how great deeply disturbed women are in bed.
Whether you are a fan of Lohan or Trump, there is something to consider. Donald Trump is our current president, and because of that, we need to cheer him on. The American population has been quick to criticize those who didn’t support Trump until he took his seat in the Oval Office. Supporters like Matthew McConaughey and Nicole Kidman assert that it doesn’t really matter if you like Trump or not; he’s still the leader of the country. To wish for his failure is to wish for the failure of the United States as a whole.
And then there is always the possibility that some celebrities support Trump in an effort to keep their own names in the limelight. Whatever the case may be, you can usually look to Twitter to learn who is supportive of our president and who isn’t. Every day is just one Tweet away from the next dramatic event in the lives of celebrities and our president.
