Abortion Case Heard by Supreme Court

(UnitedVoice.com) – On September 18, Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg passed away, leaving a vacancy on the Supreme Court. Since that time, Democrats have claimed the court is going to reverse Roe v. Wade, and rip away women’s rights. Candidates across the US are campaigning on that. A recent decision by the high court makes that sound like a whole lot of fearmongering.

On October 8, the Supreme Court ruled 6-2 against a motion by the Trump administration to stop abortion pills from being mailed to women. The FDA used to require women to go into the clinic to pick the pills up. Federal Judge Theodore Chuang forced the FDA to relax the rules during the pandemic.

To be clear, even if Amy Coney Barrett was on the court right now and ruled against abortion pills being mailed, the ruling still would have been in favor of sending the medication out. What is the Democratic Party going to do if they’re unable to scare women into voting for them over the abortion issue?
