Medication Recall
Sandoz has recalled over 600,000 bottles of Losartan Potassium and Ezetimibe due to the bottles not having child-resistant tops. These medications, used to treat blood pressure, heart conditions and high cholesterol, could be very harmful if swallowed by a child.
The US Consumer Product Safety Commission made an official announcement on their twitter, including lot numbers that are part of the recall.
#Recall: About 636,000 @sandoz_global Losartan Potassium, Ezetimibe prescription drug bottles in U.S.; not child-resistant; poisoning risk if swallowed by children. Get replacement cap. 800-525-8747 or https://t.co/pUUDZjxC3n. Full notice: https://t.co/TAmYxv7v8b pic.twitter.com/R7oYWWStqA

If you have one of these bottles, you can get a replacement bottle by calling 800-525-8747 from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Eastern Time, Monday through Friday.
Facebook Exposes Data
Once again Facebook has compromised user information. A server containing almost 420 million phone records, 133 million belonging to US users, has been discovered online on an unprotected server.
This data leak puts users at risk for spam calls and the chance that their SIM card could be hacked, which can cause a wide array of problems.
More than a year ago Facebook stopped using the feature that allowed people to look up profiles using a phone number. So why is the information still being kept?
Funny how Facebook says a lot of the exposed user phone numbers are "duplicates". https://t.co/l3cYljh3Wu
A spokesperson told me background that only 217 million are affected. But that's just one database — see below. There's a lot more data — and little evidence of duplication. pic.twitter.com/f0AFecUS2y

This data set is old and appears to have information obtained before we made changes last year to remove people’s ability to find others using their phone numbers. The data set has been taken down and we have seen no evidence that Facebook accounts were compromised.
— Facebook spokesperson Jay Nancarrow
This is a good reminder that even though a website might be free to use, there is always a cost. With Facebook that cost seems to be your privacy.
