AOC Listed As "Enemy Of Freedom"

AOC Listed As

Everyone is angry at AOC — and why wouldn’t they be? She constantly spews socialist rhetoric, verging dangerously closer and closer to Communist ideals. And yet this is the woman sitting at the helm in Congress?
If you can’t stand AOC, you’re in good company. The Fresno Grizzlies, a Minor League baseball team, is taking heat for speaking up against her in a recent Memorial Day tribute video, where they labeled her an “enemy of the state.”

Maybe the truth hurts?

Key Points

  • The inspiring video above, which contains a monologue of a speech delivered by Ronald Reagan, is bursting with pride and patriotism. Reagan speaks to the price of freedom and the American desire to better ourselves, adhere to the rule of God, and respect our fallen heroes.
  • The former US president’s voice rings out true, touching on the “moral courage of free men and women” and heralding them as America’s most “formidable weapon.” But it’s what happens closer to the end that really has the Left riled up…
  • Reagan’s voice continues as the video begins to flash images of Kim Jong Un, Fidel Castro, ANTIFA, and the ever-controversial Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. “As for the enemies of freedom, those who are potential adversaries, they will be reminded that peace is the highest aspiration of the American people. We will negotiate for it, sacrifice for it, we will not surrender for it, now or ever. We are Americans.”
  • It’s clear that whoever curated the images and content clearly meant to indicate that AOC was, in fact, an “enemy of freedom.” The Left immediately rained down hellfire on the Fresno Grizzlies, calling them everything from cruel to washed-up… but when did we become so against calling a spade a spade, anyway?

The Grizzlies were later forced to apologize for the video, reaching out to AOC directly. We understand why they did it; the negative press would have severely impacted their sponsorships and potentially, cost them their ability to play.
But there’s a bigger concern here: when did our country change so much that it’s no longer permissible to speak up and stand up for American values? Having freedom means having the ability to share your opinion without punishment…even if the Left disagrees.
