Manafort is now in solitary confinement in Manhattan's Metropolitan Correctional Center just half a mile from his old SoHo loft. https://t.co/QS3HdYkbsb

Paul Manafort is currently serving a seven-year sentence for bank fraud, tax fraud and other charges that came from Mueller’s Russia investigation. He was originally being held at FCI Loretto in Pennsylvania. Now that he is facing similar charges in Manhatten, he has been transferred to Metropolitan Correctional Center to await arraignment. As soon as he arrived, he was put into solitary confinement.
While the DOJ says this is because of Manafort’s health and safety needs, his lawyer is not happy. It seems like no matter where Manafort is; he can’t be treated fairly.
Ocasio-Cortez Under Fire for Concentration Camp Remarks
Another day, another crazy comment from the liberal god AOC.
Although it can be hard to keep up with all her crazy statements, this new one is a doozy. During an Instagram Live appearance this week she said that the United States is running concentration camps on our southern border. This live video took place around the same time that President Trump announced that ICE would start deporting millions of illegals starting next week.
Ocasio-Cortez has received a lot of negative reactions to this statement, mostly from Republican leaders. Perhaps she should go back to school and learn what a concentration camp is before she starts using a phrase associated with one of the worse times in human history.
Senator Collins Casts 7,000th Straight Vote
Senator Susan Collins (R-ME) extended her voting streak this week after taking her 7,000th consecutive vote.

Democrats are hopeful that this streak will soon end. Although Collins has been a beloved member of the Senate for 22 years, they are counting on a recent vote to give them the power to put someone new in her seat. They believe her vote for Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh will their smoking gun.
If Republicans don’t get out and vote next year, this could be the case. Her critics have already crowdsourced $4 million for someone to run against her. Do you think they have a chance of ousting this longterm dedicated senator? Let us know in the comments!
