(UnitedVoice.com) – The hits just keep on coming for Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) — it seems like people have finally had enough of the loudmouth “Squad” member. To help unseat the first-time representative, Trump supporters are giving money to her Democratic challenger.
Michelle Caruso-Cabrera (D-NY) is a former CNBC anchor and business reporter. She’s a moderate, pro-business Democrat who offers a clear contrast to the firebrand bartender-turned-socialist who stunningly defeated Rep. Joe Crowley (D) in 2017.

Representatives are most vulnerable to defeat at the end of their first term. Republicans know they have no shot at winning AOC’s congressional district. However, if they have a more pro-business, common sense, friendly Democrat who’ll support their economic agenda, it makes sense to support Caruso-Cabrera, who believes in the power of business to empower people over the government.
Caruso-Cabrera says she’s the daughter and granddaughter of Italian and Cuban immigrants. In 2018, she supported the Amazon headquarters that abandoned the district after AOC helped run then off. Tens of thousands of jobs and new wealth would have been added. She stated she wants everyone to have the same opportunities she had and reminded voters that AOC was the only Democrat to vote against the CARES Act.
To date, three top Trump supporters have maxed out contributions to Caruso-Cabrera at $5,600 each. Financier Nelson Patz, broadcaster Stanly Hubbard, and venture capitalist Darren Blanton are among the contributors.
