AOC vs. Mike Pence, Cuomo Wants Trump's Tax Returns and British Ambassador Cut Off

Mike Pence Reprimands AOC

Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is deliberately ruffling the feathers of another high ranking White House official again.

Vice President Mike Pence denounced AOC’s commentary of immigrant holding camps while speaking at the Christians United for Israel summit. Ocasio-Cortez claims the border camps are similar to concentration camps used in WWII. How can she believe we’re treating detained immigrants exactly the same as Jewish people affected by the Holocaust?

Pence adamantly stated “We must never allow the memory of those lost in the Holocaust to be cheapened as a cliché to advance some left-wing political narrative.”

AOC certainly won’t change her mind, but at least we get some reasonable commentary from Pence on this issue.

NY Governor Trying to Get Access to Trump’s Tax Returns

It’s the never-ending saga of Democrats trying to access President Trump’s private tax returns. Andrew Cuomo, the Governor of New York has signed a new bill that gives Dems what they want.

The bill gives congressional Democrats a workaround to try to get Trump’s tax returns released. It requires the Department of Taxation and Finance to hand over information to committees in Congress. Prior to the new bill, state tax returns could only be accessed by law enforcement.

This is a blatant attack on the president’s rights to privacy. If they can change laws like this to attack the highest and most respected position in our country, imagine what Cuomo might start doing if he sets his sights on private citizens.

US Will No Longer Interact with British Ambassador

President Trump announced that the United States is no longer going to deal with Kim Darroch, the current British ambassador to the United States. This announcement comes after documents were leaked where the ambassador made some unfounded and unprofessional comments about the President.

This event marks the first time that Great Britain will have essentially no representation in the US. Should Trump welcome a new one with open arms, or are we better off dealing with Britain as little as possible? Comment below and let us know what you think!
