(UnitedVoice.com) – Attacks on religious and pro-life organizations exploded in the weeks before and after the Supreme Court’s Dobbs v. Jackson decision, which eliminated federal protection for abortions. The FBI is even offering a $25,000 reward for information leading to arrests for attacks on pro-life pregnancy resource centers across the US. The Department of Justice recently announced the arrest of a perpetrator who allegedly carried out such an attack.

On March 28, the DOJ announced the arrest of Hridindu Sankar Roychowdhury (29) of Madison, Wisconsin. He was charged with one count of attempting trying to cause damage by using an explosive or lighting a fire.
According to the press release, first responders were called to the scene of a fire at an office building in Madison on May 8, 2022. Law enforcement officers found a mason jar under a broken window that appeared to be burned black. There was also a lighter in the vicinity of the jar. As the police were looking around, they found a second jar with a singed cloth sticking out of the top and a clear fluid inside. The Molotov cocktail had not burned as the accused arsonist had intended.
The wall inside of the building, which was identified as a pro-life center, had a message scrawled across it in spray paint. It said, “If abortions aren’t safe then you aren’t either.” The phrase has been adopted by radicals who are angry about Dobbs.
Investigators were able to collect DNA from the scene, and when they later identified Roychowdhury as a suspect, they put eyes on him. In March, they saw him throw away food in a public trash can, which they quickly collected and sent off for testing. The DNA was allegedly a match to the crime scene.
Officers arrested the suspect in Boston’s Logan International Airport, where he intended to board a flight to Guatemala City. He’s facing a mandatory 5 years in prison and a maximum of 20 years if he is convicted.
