(UnitedVoice.com) – On May 22, DNC Joe Biden appeared on The Breakfast Club podcast hosted by Charlamagne Tha God, and made his infamous statement, “If you have a problem figuring out whether you’re for me or Trump, then you ain’t black.” Since then he’s not exactly apologized for the incident, but has tried to do some damage control. Charlamagne isn’t exactly convinced.
Charlamagne has recently called out Biden’s “racist past.” He mentioned the Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act — also known as the Crime Bill of 1994— which Biden is routinely criticized for. Many claim this bill locked up large numbers of African-Americans with long sentences for small crimes.
The whole argument should almost be déjà vu to Biden, as it’s a similar one that Cory Booker presented in 2019 in a CNN debate. In this debate, Booker accused Biden of putting African-Americans in prison for life over drug charges with his Crime Bill.
Charlamagne stated, “… at this point Biden would be a fool not to put a black woman as his running mate”. Biden loves to tell people to “take a look at the record,” little does he know how much it hurts.
