Biden Falling in the Polls
Joe Biden has been seen as the most likely Democratic Party candidate to run against President Trump in 2020. The Democrats have made it obvious that they don’t care who gets the nomination as long as it’s the candidate with the best chance of winning, and up to now that’s been Biden – but now it looks like his popularity is fading.

A Fox News Poll shows that only 29% of Democrats want Biden to become president. That’s down 6 points since May and puts him just 11 points ahead of Bernie Sanders.
The poll showed that Biden is still seen as having the best chance at winning, with 42% saying he can beat Trump. Only 17% think Sanders has a chance at doing that.
Elizabeth Warren came in a solid third place with most of the questions, but she and Sanders have been neck-and-neck for a few weeks now.
Joe Kennedy Running for Senate
Rep. Joe Kennedy III (D-MA) is set to officially challenge Sen. Ed Markey (D-MA) for his Senate seat in the next few days.
Sources close to Kennedy say that after the announcement is made he will start campaigning across the state right away. Kennedy allegedly met with Markey on Wednesday to inform him of his intent to run.
This race is expected to divide Democrats in the state. Markey has been in Congress for over 40 years and has the support of both Elizabeth Warren and AOC.
Kennedy, a member of America’s most famous political family, is certain he has a good chance at beating Markey. In July, he commissioned a poll to see how people would vote if the race came down to him and Markey. The poll results were promising, with Kennedy beating Markey by 14 percentage points.
