Bill Cosby Set to Return, Announces New Comedy Tour

(UnitedVoice.com) – Comedian Bill Cosby was once one of the most beloved actors of his generation. That all changed when a court convicted him of indecent assault after multiple women accused him of rape. The Pennsylvania Supreme Court overturned his conviction in 2021. He’s now ready to face the public again.

On December 28, Cosby spoke to Scott Spears, the host of a radio show on WWGH-FM in Marion, Ohio. During the interview, the radio host asked the disgraced star whether he plans to return to the stage in 2023. Cosby responded positively, saying he intends to tour in the new year because “there’s so much fun to be hard in this storytelling” that he does.

The comedian was clear that he wanted to make sure his audience wants to hear from him, so he’s waited to return to the stage. Andrew Wyatt, a representative for Cosby, told Variety the star would go on tour in the spring or summer.

Though Pennsylvania’s high court threw out his conviction, five women filed sexual abuse allegations against him under the New York Adult Survivors Act. The legislation allows alleged victims of sexual assault to file claims, even if the allegations are old, for one year after it went into effect. Wyatt has denied the allegations on Cosby’s behalf.
