Boycott Target Song Skyrockets To Big Position

(UnitedVoice.com) – Target recently angered Conservatives (again) with its PRIDE month merchandise. A relatively unknown rapper made a song about the controversy that took over the Apple charts for a few days. Now, it has reached a new position.

Rapper Forgiato Blow wrote “Boycott Target” with his friend, Jimmy Levy, after the controversy over the PRIDE merch. They released the song on May 25, and within a few days, it took over the top spot on the Apple iTunes chart. The song also reached number one on Billboard’s rap digital chart. The song hit both top spots despite the fact that Levy claimed it has faced a lot of censorship since the artists released it.

The song slams retail giant Target for selling PRIDE shirts that have inclusive statements on them in honor of the LGBTQ+ community. The stores were also selling other merchandise, like bathing suits for transgender adults. The company was also accused of selling Satanist clothing to children, but that was proven to be misinformation.

Both rappers were unknown in mainstream rap until the song hit the top of the charts, making their feat even more impressive. For example, Forgiato Blow and Jimmy Levy, who each have just over 200,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, were able to beat Nikki Minaj on the Billboard Chart even though she is markedly more popular, with over 51 million monthly listeners on the popular streaming app.

Though they aren’t well-known in the mainstream, they’ve created a pretty strong conservative following. Forgiato Blow has made a number of music videos featuring people like Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) and Roger Stone.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene congratulated the rappers on their newfound popularity, saying, “American Conservatives are once again showing who has the real buying power.” She said it’s definitely not the “woke mob” who she accused of only knowing how to “bully and riot.”
