(UnitedVoice.com) – The mainstream media has largely ignored the Hunter Biden scandal. However, Fox News is one of the exceptions. It’s one of a small group of organizations not glossing over the story. Now, one of its anchors is defending the network’s reports on the matter.
On October 28, Washington Post journalist Dana Milbank attacked Fox News’ Bret Baier for reporting on allegations made by Hunter Biden’s former partner, Tony Bobulinski. He accused the news anchor of “desperately hawking” trash by reporting on a legitimate news story.
Baier hit back and reminded Milbank what a journalist is supposed to do.
Dana-we are covering a story not hawking anything. The business partner said what he said – he said he met w/ Joe Biden. Joe Biden said he didn’t & knew nothing of Hunter’s business deals. Is it not ok to ask questions anymore? Should the NYPost be locked out of Twitter? https://t.co/XUYA719iNa

The job of a journalist is to report the news even when it goes against their personal ideological beliefs. Milbank doesn’t seem to understand that. The Washington Post should be encouraging its readers to educate themselves on the allegations being made; instead, people like Milbank are declaring it “trash,” without evidence.
