(UnitedVoice.com) – President Donald Trump’s administration is working hard to stop the spread of COVID-19. Over the weekend, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) released new guidelines to combat the virus. The president also released supplemental recommendations to go along with the agency’s.
The CDC wants Americans to avoid gatherings of 10 or more people for at least 15 days. The president says it could last until August. Health officials say we need to flatten the curve so as to not overwhelm the healthcare system.
President Trump took it a step further, recommending Americans avoid groups of 10 or more for 15 days. Also, employees should work remotely when possible. The commander-in-chief emphasized those who are in a critical industry should continue working but make sure they’re following the CDC’s advice to protect their health.
