China Drawing Red Line for the World Over Taiwan

(UnitedVoice.com) – When Russia began occupying eastern Ukraine after the separatist regions declared independence, military experts began worrying about Taiwan. There was a concern the Chinese government would invade the island. The communists are now issuing threats against those who might want to interfere in the potential conflict.

On March 12, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) issued a warning that any country who supports Taiwan with military aid would face the “worst consequences.” The government said “no one and no force” would be able to stop them if they take action against the island.

The United States already helps Taiwan militarily, just like it does with Ukraine. American soldiers were stationed in the country in 2021, allegedly helping train the nation’s military. The US also approved an arms sale to the island nation worth more than $750 million.

The warning came the day after Chinese President Xi Jinping held diplomatic talks with Australia. China is angry that Australian Defense Minister Peter Dutton said his country would do whatever it could to help protect Taiwan from an invasion. US Navy Admiral John Aquilino, commander of the US Indo-Pacific Command, told the Senate Armed Services Committee that he’s continuing to watch the situation.

Do you think China will invade Taiwan?
