China Is Running Secret Concentration Camps, UN Investigators Say

BOMBSHELL Report Dropped – Violations Exposed!

(UnitedVoice.com) – At the end of former President Donald Trump’s administration, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo released a statement accusing the Chinese government of carrying out a genocide of its own people. Up to that point, there’d been a lot of rumbling about the possibility of human rights violations against the Uyghur minority in the country. A new report by the United Nations is accusing the communist government of egregious acts.

On August 31, the UN Human Rights Council’s Office of the High Commissioner released the highly-anticipated report about the atrocities the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) allegedly committed in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region. The report estimated government officials had placed approximately 10% to 20% of the adult minority into detention facilities between 2017-2018. Footnote 140 cites a Newsweek Japan article from 2018 that claimed more than 890,000 were put into concentration camps.

The report accused the country of committing human rights violations that UN members could consider “crimes against humanity.” It also outlined allegations of sexual violence, torture, forced labor, forced abortion, and forced sterilization.

The Chinese government responded by issuing a 122-page rebuttal titled “Fight against Terrorism and Extremism in Xinjiang: Truth and Facts.” Beijing has long denied the allegations, claiming they’re part of a campaign to smear the nation.

Why do you think the UN has not done more to stop the alleged abuse in China?
