(UnitedVoice.com) – Millions of Americans log onto Facebook and Twitter every day. The social media apps are extremely popular even as they both approach their 20th anniversaries. The world could get the opportunity to watch the owners of the companies, Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk, fight one another. UFC’s president says both men are serious about duking it out.
The possibility of a fight between the tech giants was born on social media — of course. It all started on June 20th, when Musk made a joke about Zuckerberg after reports surfaced that he might be developing an app to compete against Twitter.
A Twitter user told Musk to be careful about making jokes about Zuckerberg because he does martial arts. The billionaire said he would face off against the Facebook founder in “a cage match” if he’d agree.
I’m up for a cage match if he is lol

Zuckerberg answered on Instagram, asking Musk to send him a location. The Twitter owner said he wasn’t joking about the fight and suggested they do it at the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) arena in Las Vegas.
On June 22, TMZ Founder Harvey Levin interviewed UFC President Dana White and asked him about the fight between Musk and Zuckerberg. He told Levin that he spoke to both men about the possibility of a fight and believes “both guys are absolutely dead serious.”
White said Zuckerberg contacted him first and asked if he thought Musk was serious. He said he called Tesla’s founder and asked him; Musk responded, “Yes, I’m dead serious.”
The UFC president told Levin that he’s taking the possibility of a fight seriously. He said he’s willing to create a pay-per-view event with Musk v. Zuckerberg as the big match, but with other “really fun fights” as well. He said he thinks millions of people would tune in to watch the event. White explained that this is what he does “for a living,” and he really wants to make it happen if the tech billionaires are serious about it.
