(UnitedVoice.com) – Former First Lady Michelle Obama is no Hillary Clintion. She has never shown any interest in running for political office. In fact, she has said she doesn’t want to run for office at all. A former official under President Donald Trump thinks it’s a good thing the ex-first lady isn’t interested.
During a panel at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) on February 26, conservative Monica Crowley said that if Democrats ran Michelle Obama, it would put the GOP “in a very difficult position.” She explained the former first lady is “very popular, and immune to criticism.”

Further, even though Michelle has said she doesn’t want to run, Crowley says she would be in a good position to launch a campaign because of moves she has made. For instance, she was the keynote speaker at the Democratic National Convention in 2020. The former first lady also did a 50-city book tour for her autobiography, has both Spotify and Netflix deals, and created a voting rights group with popular Democrat Stacey Abrams.
Crowley also urged Republicans to pay attention to Michelle’s actions, not just her words. She said the former first lady’s trajectory mirrors Barack Obama’s before he became president.
What do you think? Do you think Michelle Obama might eventually run for office?
