Democrat Blocks Homeland Security Nominations
Once again the Democrats are pretending to care about something just so they can give President Trump a hard time.
Democratic Sen. Jacky Rosen is blocking two DHS nominees — Chad F. Wolf and Troy D. Edgar — citing "inhumane and substandard" conditions for children at the department's facilities, per her office: https://t.co/k3WeyNIv9X

This time it is Senator Jacky Rosen. She is blocking two of Trump’s Department of Homeland Security nominees. She claims she is doing this because of the problems at the border. Here’s the deal — they don’t get that this is working against their interests. Delaying the nominations for DHS just means it could potentially take longer to get things figured out down there.
It’s almost as if the Left wants the problems at the border to continue so they have something to complain about.
AOC Criticizing Trump… Again
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez needs to get a hobby because her current fixation of criticizing Trump is getting old real quick.
It may be shocking to some, but being someone’s daughter actually isn’t a career qualification.
It hurts our diplomatic standing when the President phones it in & the world moves on.
The US needs our President working the G20. Bringing a qualified diplomat couldn’t hurt either. https://t.co/KCZMXJ8FD9

AOC complained on Twitter about Ivanka Trump, President Trump’s daughter, joining him at the G-20 Summit. She believes (for some reason) that her presence hurts our standing with other countries. She also said that being the president’s daughter isn’t a career qualification.
AOC shouldn’t talk about career qualifications given that she was working in a bar less than two years ago.
New Pentagon Chief Making Connections
Mark Esper, the acting Defense Secretary and newly appointed Pentagon Chief, started his new job last week and has already made a great impression.
Congratulations Acting SecDef Dr. Esper on a successful first @NATO #DefMin. Decisions taken over the past two days continue to strengthen #NATO’s security umbrella and ensure our citizens remain safe and secure. pic.twitter.com/NsffPcoCyi

Esper is reaching out to people on both sides of the aisle in Congress. He also had a highly-productive meeting with NATO. Esper is one of the few people whose nomination was supported by both Republicans and Democrats.
Now, Dems can’t complain when the Pentagon does something wrong.
