Democratic Drama Erupts as GOP Looks Toward 2022

(UnitedVoice.com) – In 2020, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) thought her party would ride a blue wave and score massive victories in the House. That didn’t happen. Her caucus lost roughly a dozen seats, putting the GOP in a great position for 2022. That’s now causing some drama on the Left.

On May 20, House Republican Conference Chairwoman Elise Stefanik (NY) tweeted about Democratic drama after the far-left almost killed Pelosi’s $1.9-billion Capitol Hill Security bill. The Squad, led by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), was reportedly not happy because the legislation gave the police more money.

Although the proposal ended up passing, it showed just how slim Pelosi’s margin is right now. She only has an eight-vote advantage. That means, the GOP could go into the 2022 race and snatch up seats held by vulnerable Democrats. With the changes to the Electoral map as a result of the 2020 Census, that’s becoming even more likely, which means the Republican Party will soon be able to stop the radical Left’s agenda in its tracks.
