Dems: Never Met a Crisis They Couldn't Exploit

( – The one-time mayor of Chicago and Barack Obama sycophant Rahm Emanuel infamously said, “Never let a good crisis go to waste.” That seems to be the rallying cry for Progressive Liberals trying to advance their agenda as a condition for helping Americans in need. As we’ve reported before, the Democrats initially blocked the $2 trillion COVID-19 relief package until it was loaded with more pork than all the hams that will be eaten this Easter.

The Left gets their tactics from a man named Saul Alinsky and his 1971 book Rules for Radicals: A Practical Primer for Realistic Radicals. In it, he proposed 13 rules for accomplishing his dream of making America into a Socialist/Communist “workers’ paradise.” Among them:

  • Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon.
  • The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself.
  • If you push a negative hard enough, it will push through and become a positive.

Sound familiar? It should because the country is seeing it play out on a daily basis. And it could get worse if Hillary Clinton somehow inserts herself into the Democratic Party’s nomination process. She literally learned her lessons from the master himself and sent him gushing fan letters.

COVID-19 Racist??

One would think anybody pandering this idea to others would be labeled a lunatic. Unfortunately, they’d be wrong. While nobody has gone so far as to actually say the virus is intentionally attacking people of color, some have engaged in hyperbole to do what they always do; demand more money for social programs.

State Attorney General (AG) Dana Nessel (D-MI) unleashed a Tweetstorm on this very subject. Instead of offering constructive ideas on how to combat the virus causing the pandemic, she attacked Whites and Conservatives by asserting a failure to support issues like universal healthcare, public education, and environmental concerns caused the problem.

A post by the leftist American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) echoed the AG’s sentiments. They did, however, propose “solutions” like:

  • Releasing vulnerable people from jails and prisons.
  • Suspended mortgage payments to ensure fairness and support for all communities, this must be coupled with a rent suspension.
  • Impose a moratorium on court fines and fees and related penalties, including driver’s license suspensions.

To translate, let convicts back onto the streets, force landlords to forego their livelihood, and don’t make people responsible for their actions. Using a disaster for social-engineering at its best, or is that its worst?

Are there racial issues that divide America? Absolutely. Is this the time to try and fundamentally change everything? Absolutely not! What needs to be done right now is to find the medical equipment necessary to save lives, protect the people on the front lines who are fighting this war and to ease the financial strain this pandemic is causing to individuals and companies. There will be plenty of time for the SJWs (Social Justice Warriors) to rid the world of the evil bastion of freedom and prosperity that is America once things have settled down.
