DNC Communications Director Says “NO” to Nominating Biden

(UnitedVoice.com) – After Bernie Sanders (I-VT) dropped from the presidential race, Joe Biden (D) immediately became the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee. Sanders endorsed Biden and called on all Democrats, Independents, and even some Republicans to come together in supporting the former vice president.

Unfortunately for Biden, Sanders’ rally call for support fell short. Democratic National Committee (DNC) communications director, Xochitl Hinojosa’s comment revealed as much Thursday during an interview on Fox News.

Due to the pandemic, the DNC was forced to push its convention to August. They also changed the platform to a virtual setting to keep delegates safe by not having to attend in person.

In the past few weeks, Biden has been on “damage control” status as allegations of misconduct by former staffer, Tara Reade, have come to light. He’s also been implicated in the “unmasking” of General Michael Flynn, who recently had all charges dropped against by the Justice Department, but denies knowing anything about it.

It appears the Democratic Party has a lot of work to do in joining together to support Joe Biden as their presidential nominee. As of yet, the DNC communications director has yet to clarify what she said during her interview.
