(UnitedVoice.com) – Last year, then-President Donald Trump raised concerns about the origins of the COVID-19 virus. He believed the Chinese government was lying about how it started and thought it may have been the result of a lab leak. The press ridiculed him for discussing the lab leak theory. Now, it seems the media is finally starting to question the origins of the virus too and Trump is slamming the Left for their previous attacks.
During a June 23 interview with Dr. Nicole Saphier on Fox Nation, the former president said he was surprised to see the theory about the Wuhan Institute of Virology taking off. He said it “seemed pretty obvious” to him early on that there was a problem at that lab, now it’s the “biggest subject there is in America today.”
"I called it a long time ago." In an interview with @NBSaphierMD, former President Trump challenges Democrats for dismissing him early on the Wuhan lab leak theory. Instead of taking the former president seriously, the Democratic Party labeled his concerns racist and xenophobic. Trump said the Left tried to downplay it and cancel him when he was talking about it. In the end, he said, their antics just made them “look worse” because they “fought it.”
Unfortunately, Trump doesn’t think we will ever know the real truth because at this point he believes the Chinese government probably got rid of the evidence. Perhaps, the Left will learn that playing politics with a pandemic doesn’t help anyone and ensure this never happens again.
