(UnitedVoice.com) – Billionaire George Soros is one of the most prominent Democratic donors in the country. He donates millions of dollars to liberal causes and campaigns every election cycle. In recent years he’s been credited with trying to change the criminal justice system in America by helping to get far-left prosecutors elected. At 92 years old, he’s also very old. Recently, he reportedly handed the keys of his empire over to his son — who is allegedly even further to the left than his dad.
Alexander Soros
Alex Soros was born in 1985, which makes him a millennial. In June, The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) interviewed the 37-year-old to find out what he intends to do with his new power. As the head of the Soros Family Foundation and Open Society Foundation, he will ultimately decide what to do with the $25 billion empire. Currently, the family donates around $1.5 billion annually.
According to the profile of the new head of the company, he didn’t grow up with the expectation that he would take over the family business. Alexander became the successor even though his brother, Jonathan, was originally expected to move into the role. However, the 52-year-old attorney said he wasn’t surprised when he wasn’t chosen. “I always knew he could change his mind,” Jonathan said of his father.
Alex Soros told the Journal he is “more political” than his father. In fact, he met with various heads of state, President Joe Biden’s administration officials, and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) recently to talk about issues he thinks are important.
What’s To Come
Alexander Soros expressed concern about the possibility of former President Donald Trump being reelected. He made it clear that his family’s fund will play a big role in funding leftist priorities in 2024. About $125 million has been put aside for the Open Society Foundation’s super PAC. He also intends to pour money into voting rights and abortion issues.
The Media Research Center recently profiled Soros, as well. The think tank poured over statements the 37-year-old has made and determined he’s much further to the Left than his father. Soros reportedly believes the reversal of the federal abortion protections once afforded by Roe v. Wade was one of the “worst” days in American history.
He also views the GOP as “the Confederacy.”
Finally! ceding the word freedom to the authoritarian right wing has been a strategic blunder! While we’re at it, let’s embrace the American flag and bring back the American dream! It’s pretty clear the @gop is the Confederacy! This is our flag not maga’s! 🇺🇸 🇺🇸 🇺🇸 https://t.co/1F03p1OHG2

Soros has also claimed Trump’s base is made up of white supremacists.
Let’s be clear: Trump is putting Jews in danger to stir up his white nationalist base. It's blatant antisemitism.
We won't back down. Add your name to show you are proudly #DisloyalToTrump and his white nationalist agenda:

In addition, Alex intends to focus on helping Democrats appeal to more black and Latino voters, demographics that have been shifting right in recent elections. How much influence he will actually have on the broader political landscape remains to be seen.
