1 Senate Passes $4.6 Billion for the Border
Good news: $4.6 billion was just allocated towards border resources.
Bad news: The money is going to the wrong places.
BREAKING — The US Senate has passed a $4.6 billion aid package for the border, 84-8.
The House and Senate will now attempt to reconcile the differences on their two separate bills.

The House version of the bill providing $4.5 billion was rejected by the Senate. Instead of the money being applied towards security and general applications, the new Senate version expands funding to take better care of immigrants in custody.
The Senate believes that detainees, especially children, are being mistreated and that it’s an “emergency” situation. Trump blasted the new bill saying there’s nothing allocated for much-needed border security. It’s amazing how Liberals will twist the intentions of any bill to align with their agenda.
2 California Implements Background Checks for Ammo Purchases
Maybe you’re already familiar with California’s extremely restrictive gun laws. It gets even better. Now, all ammo purchasers are subjected to a background check.
At the end of the day, it is a perverse fact: Guns don’t kill people. Unless a gun is used as a blunt instrument, a gun is not particularly dangerous. A gun requires a dangerous component and that’s ammunition. -Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA)
The Dems aren’t really after firearm safety. They’re just adding on more unnecessary restrictions and hoops to jump through to discourage gun ownership. Are they going to ban firing triggers and hand grips next?

3 Supreme Court Delays Ruling on Citizenship Question
Democrats have another victory in their war strengthen existing blue blocks in the country. They’ve always counted on illegal immigrant voters to turn the tides of elections in their favor. Now, the simple question “Are you a citizen of the US?” isn’t even going to be allowed on the 2020 census.
The presidential administration is very disappointed with the ruling. Nothing was said about its constitutional validity, so the citizenship question isn’t totally off the table. It’s just postponed until after the crucial 2020 election, which also means after the next census is underway. The Left needs all the help it can get, and they’ll stoop to tailoring the census to benefit them over the average Joe.
We’ll keep an eye on this one — we don’t think the fight is over just yet.
