Democrat Ads REJECTED – Top Company Blacklists Them!

(UnitedVoice.com) – Almost 100 million people tune into Walt Disney-owned streaming platform, Hulu. That makes it very attractive to those who want to run political ads ahead of the 2024 election. The company recently angered the Left, however, when it made a decision about the upcoming midterms.

According to reports, on July 15, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC), Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC), and Democratic Governors Association (DGA) tried to buy joint ads about guns and abortion on Hulu, an ABC affiliate, and ESPN. The advertisements ran on the television stations but not on the streaming platform.

The executive directors of the committee issued a joint statement to The Washington Post saying the “censorship of the truth is outrageous.” They went on to say Americans have a “right to know the facts about MAGA Republicans’ agenda.”

Christina Reynolds of EMILY’s List chastised Hulu for refusing to run pro-abortion ads, claiming the company picked the “wrong side.”

Senate Democrats also released a statement alleging the people have a right to know about the information in the ads.

Ironically, Democrats are complaining about alleged censorship by the Disney-owned platform but had nothing to say when the entertainment giant actually silenced Conservatives. For example, the Left celebrated when Disney fired Gina Carano from “The Mandalorian.” They also didn’t care when the company recast conservative Tim Allen in the “Lightyear” movie. In fact, Republicans have long complained about censorship, yet the Left has done nothing. Now that the shoe is on the other foot, they’re outraged.

What do you think about the Democratic Party’s reaction to Hulu’s decision?
