Satellite imagery released reveals the remnants of an Iranian rocket on a launchpad, which somehow exploded before it could take flight. Experts claim that the explosion happened during the fueling process.

Reports from August indicated that the launch site was heavily active. Iran is clearly attempting to rush rocket tests, as this is their third rocket launch failure this year. The type of rocket on the launch pad and its purpose remain a mystery.
Air Force Testing New Weapons
The Pentagon has been working on a series of hypersonic weapons. Now, the Air Force and the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) are excited to begin testing them.
The Hypersonic Air-Breathing Weapons Concept is a project focusing on developing weapons that can travel five times faster than the speed of sound. They can be launched from the ground or air, giving them a tactical advantage through versatility of use.

DARPA has also been working on boost-glide hypersonic weapons. These are weapons propelled to a certain altitude and speed in order to glide to its target. This results in a quieter missile that shouldn’t rely as heavily on fuel as traditional options.
Space Command Established
August marked the beginning of the US Space Command that will ensure the protection of American property in space. The US Space Command will start off with 287 employees to safeguard the US from potential Russian and Chinese anti-satellite missiles. Space Command’s base of operations hasn’t been disclosed yet.

Spacecom will defend America’s vital interests in space, the next warfighting domain, and I think that’s pretty obvious to everybody. It’s all about space. Those who wish to harm the United States, to seek to challenge us on the ultimate high ground of space, it’s going to be a whole different ball game.
Liberals are outraged by the addition of another military branch. They want peace and love for everyone in the world while ignoring the harsh reality that some countries want to see us destroyed. Investing in our military is how we keep America safe, even if we never have to flex our muscles.
