IRS Agent Drops Bombshell Allegedly About the Biden Family

IRS Agent Drops Bombshell About the Biden Family

( – President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, has been under active investigation for years at this point. The younger Biden confirmed a federal probe into his taxes way back in 2020, about a month before his father was inaugurated into the White House. More than two years later, nothing has happened. A recent letter from an attorney representing an IRS official implied the investigation is being handled poorly.

On April 19, an attorney named Mark D. Lytle sent a letter to various members of Congress to inform lawmakers to inform them he is representing an IRS Criminal Supervisory special agent. According to the letter, his client has been overseeing an “ongoing and sensitive investigation of a high-profile, controversial” person for the last three years and wants to make whistleblower statements to lawmakers.

The letter goes on to say that the information Lytle’s client wants to disclose would contradict testimony that a “senior political appointee” gave under oath. The IRS official also claims there’s been a failure to protect the investigation from conflicts of interest. Also, they believe the probe is being influenced by politics.

Lytle never mentions Hunter Biden or the president’s family in the letter to lawmakers. However, media organizations, including The Wall Street Journal, claimed people who are familiar with the letter said it was about Hunter Biden.

The Department of Justice is currently investigating Hunter Biden for possible tax and gun crimes. The US attorney for Delaware has declined to comment on the letter and hasn’t said anything about the probe at all. When President Biden took office, he left David C. Weiss, an appointee of former POTUS Donald Trump, in charge of the case.

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre responded to a question about whether Weiss is dragging his feet because the probe is about the president’s son during the press briefing on April 20. She claimed the president’s administration is not involved in the investigation and has left it to the “independent” Department of Justice to handle.
