(UnitedVoice.com) – When former President Donald Trump ran for office, he promised to help all Americans. He had the same message to everyone of all races: he wanted to get them back to work. President Joe Biden seems to remember things differently though and recently made an absurd claim about his predecessor.
During an interview with The Atlantic published on May 25, the president claimed Trump ran for the Oval Office on a platform claiming that “black folks are taking your job.” He went on to say that alleged rhetoric like that “opens up the door to the Charlottesvilles of the world” referencing the violence that took the life of a young woman in 2017. The problem is that Trump never ran on a campaign blaming black people for white people being out of jobs.

When Trump was in office he worked hard to implement policies that helped reduce the number of African-Americans who were without jobs. They saw record low unemployment because of his efforts, as did all races. Does that sound like something he would have done if he was telling white people that their jobs were being stolen by minorities? Of course not, Biden lied — again.
