(UnitedVoice.com) – Pro-life advocates have been at war with lax abortion restrictions for years. Recently, there’s been excitement on the Right because former President Donald Trump appointed three Supreme Court justices to the bench, making the high court lean conservative. Recently, a lower court judge issued a ruling that could get a Tennessee law in front of those justices.
On February 26, US District Court Judge William Campbell issued a preliminary injunction against a Tennessee law that requires doctors to inform patients that chemical abortions can be reversed. It also bans the procedure when the physician detects a heart beat.

On the surface, it seems like bad news because the law can’t go into effect until the case winds through the courts. However, there’s a possibility the state can fight it and make it to the Supreme Court. If that happens and the high court weighs in, abortion-rights groups might be in a position to argue for the reversal of Roe v. Wade. That’s the ultimate goal for the movement.
