GOODBYE – Kamala Harris Loses Another One!
(UnitedVoice.com) – For more than a year, there have been rumors about divisions in Vice President Kamala Harris’ office. In 2021, staff members allegedly told reporters that morale was low and they often felt poorly treated. A number of them have left their positions, including her top speechwriter.
According to a July 15 POLITICO report, the vice president’s director of speechwriting, Meghan Groob, is resigning after less than four months. She started the job in April after Kate Childs Graham left her job at the end of February. She isn’t the only one leaving the West Wing.
It’s not clear why Groob is departing, but it comes after Harris messed up a transportation speech.

In addition to Groob, Harris is losing her longest-serving aide, Rohini Kosoglu. Before taking the job in the administration, she served as the vice president’s chief of staff in her Senate office and worked for her failed campaign for the Democratic Party’s presidential nomination. Reports indicate Kosoglu is leaving to spend more time with her family, including her sons, ages 9, 6, and 2.
What do you think about the vice president’s staff turnover rate? Do you think there’s an underlying issue with her leadership, or is this just par for the course?
