(UnitedVoice.com) – The Republican Party held the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) recently. Many of the most prominent members of the GOP attended the four-day event, including failed 2022 Arizona gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake. Her remarks are making waves.
On Saturday, March 4, Lake spoke at the event, which was held in the DC metro area. She told the attendees that she was going to tell them an unbelievable story that she wondered if the “fake news” was going to report. The Republican said she was approached at her home days before the event by people she refused to name. She said they “tried to bribe” her into leaving politics.
The former candidate told the crowd that the unnamed people tried to sway her “with a job title, with a huge salary, [and] a position on a board.” She claimed the person relaying the bribe was sent by “some powerful people back East,” but she never told the guests at the event the names. Lake claimed the incident proved that “these people” want to stop her and silence Conservatives.
Last week, somebody came to her house and tried to buy @KariLake out of politics.
But @KariLake can't be bought.

Lake said that she left a big job and the salary that went along with it to get into politics. She claimed what the person was trying to bribe her with isn’t a motivating factor for her, and she has proved it. Before the Republican got involved in politics, Lake was a news anchor in Arizona. She left this career behind so she could focus on running for the governor role.
The conservative lost the election to Democrat Katie Hobbs. In the months since, the MAGA Republican sued the state to overturn the results. She has claimed massive voter fraud led to her losing the race. So far, the courts have ruled against all of her attempts to be installed as governor.
