(UnitedVoice.com) – President Donald Trump left Washington, DC on January 20, but promised voters he’d be back in the public eye in some form. Just little over a week later, Republicans want to know what that’s going to look like, so one of them went to find out.
On Thursday, January 28, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) traveled to Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida to speak to Trump. The former president’s PAC Save America provided the press with a readout of the meeting, saying the two talked about many pressing issues, but the number one subject was “taking back the House in 2022.” McCarthy and the GOP believe they can harness Trump’s popularity to beat Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and her majority in the midterms.

Trump received more votes than any other sitting president in history. If anyone’s going to help the Republican Party take back power, it’ll be him.
