Kevin Spacey Finally Facing Charges
(UnitedVoice.com) – Kevin Spacey was arguably one of the most popular actors in the US, maybe the world. His portrayal as Frank Underwood on Netflix’s “House of Cards” won him a Golden Globe and two Screen Actors Guild Awards for best actor in a drama. Still, in 2017, it all fell apart, and five years later, he’s facing criminal charges.
On May 26, Rosemary Ainslie, head of the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) Special Crime Division, announced prosecutors are charging Spacey with four counts of sexual assault, including forced penetration. The charges relate to complaints from three men against him from 2005 to 2013. According to the press release, the Metropolitan Police gathered evidence against Spacey during a thorough investigation.
It is extremely important there should be no reporting, commentary or sharing of information online which could in any way prejudice these proceedings.

Ainslie said the actor “has the right to a fair trial.” The announcement also stated CPS doesn’t determine his guilt.
In 2017, Netflix fired Spacey from “House of Cards” and killed off his character after multiple men came forward accusing him of sexual assault. Among those who said he molested them was Harry Dreyfuss, the son of legendary actor Richard Dreyfuss, who said Spacey groped him and Anthony Rapp, who said he was 14 years old when the actor made a sexual advance.
Spacey has long denied the allegations against him. Now, he’ll have to defend his innocence in criminal court.
