Kim Jong-un Fired Old ICBM

(UnitedVoice.com) – United Voice recently reported about North Korea possibly firing a long-range intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM). The adversarial nation claimed it launched a Hwasong-17 missile in its largest weapons test in years. Now, reports indicate Kim Jong-un’s pants were on fire.

On Tuesday, March 29, South Korea dismissed North Korea’s claims that it launched the Hwasong-17 missile. The US ally said Kim’s military actually fired a Hwasong-15 missile, a smaller one they’d already launched in 2017. The smaller weapon can potentially reach the US mainland as well. Comparatively, the Hwasong-17 is designed to carry multiple nuclear warheads and the weapons can possibly defeat missile defense systems.

South Korea’s Defense Ministry also accused North Korea of doctoring the video it posted as proof of a missile launch. They said the video likely wasn’t recorded on the date NK claimed, pointing to the weather and Kim’s shadow as proof.

Although the missile test wasn’t quite as frightening as Kim Jong-un wanted America to think it was, the country doesn’t seem like it’s going to be deterred any time soon. The dictator recently pledged to build up his military, suggesting it might have additional launches or even test a nuclear device soon.

The question now is whether President Joe Biden is going to do anything to ensure America’s safety.
