KJP Takes Flight, Flees From Reporters Over Biden Business Question

(UnitedVoice.com) – As House Republicans begin a formal impeachment inquiry into President Biden’s links with his son Hunter’s businesses, the White House seems to be getting nervous about discussing the issue. At a recent press conference, spokeswoman Karine Jean-Pierre was asked about the topic. Instead of answering, she ended the conference and walked away.

On September 13, Jean-Pierre hosted her regular White House press conference and was asked several times about the impeachment process and whether or not congressional investigators would find any evidence. She deflected those questions, dismissing them as “baseless” and insisting Biden has done nothing wrong.

Then a journalist from the New York Post asked her why the president has had so much contact with Hunter’s foreign business associates. It’s a question a lot of people are interested in, considering that a new CNN poll says 61% of Americans believe Biden has been involved in his son’s business dealings in countries like China and Ukraine, and House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) has just launched a formal impeachment inquiry to find out if he did or not.

However, either Jean-Pierre doesn’t have any answers, or she doesn’t want to share them with the American people. Instead of replying to the Post’s question, Jean-Pierre simply said, “Have a great day,” and walked off the stage. The reporter called after her, citing the CNN poll and pressing her for a response, but she didn’t say anything more.

Biden himself ignored early questions about his potential impeachment but finally opened up to reporters at a September 14 fundraiser in McLean, Virginia. He claimed Republicans are trying to impeach him because “they want to shut down the government,” ignoring the fact the GOP has — and is on the point of using — much easier ways to shut down the government. He also tried to link it to Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA). If even Biden is discussing the issue now, Jean-Pierre can’t keep ducking questions much longer.
