(UnitedVoice.com) – Last month during Gay Pride, Nickelodeon and the Disney Channel aired ads for the first time promoting the LGBT agenda. These ads were targeted directly at children.
Disney has taken heat in the past for incorporating gay elements into their programming. Previously, they limited their LGBT ads to just social media during Pride Month, but this year they put their leftist agenda right in front of the kids.
One of the pride ads that aired on the Disney Channel in June featured Raven-Symone, who’s a lesbian. While she never mentioned the word “gay,” she was clear about getting the kids involved in gay pride.
“Pride, to me, is strength. Pride is selfless. Pride is friends, family. Pride is you,” she said.
Nickelodeon was even more explicit in their pride ads. Not only did they feature various gay artists, but they also specifically talked about how these people were homosexual.
The reactions to these ads from parents were mixed. Some of them expressed their approval, but others vowed to no longer allow Nickelodeon and Disney in their homes.
It’s just a shame that these kids’ networks decided to take this approach. Programming and ads about sexual orientation don’t belong on children’s channels.
