Marjorie Taylor Greene Calls for Biden To Be Impeached Over Docs

( – Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) is not a friend of President Joe Biden. On his first full day in office in 2021, the freshman congresswoman introduced articles of impeachment against him. Months later, she announced she introduced three more impeachment resolutions in August. In the wake of Biden’s classified documents scandal, the representative is once again calling him to face impeachment.

Greene spoke to C-Span about Biden’s lawyers finding classified documents at his former Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement. She said Congress should impeach the president because the records stemmed from when he served as Barack Obama’s vice president.

“Vice presidents cannot declassify documents,” Greene said, according to Breitbart. She went on to say the news warranted a “serious investigation.” She told the network that Congress needs to “impeach Biden.”

Greene also said she believes there is a “true two tier justice system” because of how the DOJ has treated former President Donald Trump.

Greene’s remarks stem from the news that Biden’s lawyers found two sets of classified documents in areas connected to him. They found one set at his office at the Penn Biden Center and the other at his Delaware home. The attorneys handed the records over to the National Archives and Records Administration.

Attorney General Merrick Garland appointed former US Attorney Robert Hur to investigate how the documents ended up where they were. The AG said the appointment of the former Donald Trump appointee shows the DOJ’s independence while dealing with “sensitive matters.”

Greene isn’t sure the investigation by the special counsel will benefit the people. She expressed her concern the DOJ will use it as an excuse to stonewall Republicans when they ask for documents.

The special counsel promised he would carry out the probe “with fair, impartial and dispassionate judgment.”
