McConnell Releases Impeachment Resolution

McConnell Releases Impeachment Resolution

(UnitedVoice.com) – Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s impeachment resolution has been released, and Dems aren’t too happy.

The resolution gives President Trump’s legal team and House impeachment managers up to 24 hours each, over the course of 2 days, to present their opening arguments. House managers will make their arguments first.

Once the presentations are finished, Senators can ask questions for “a period of time not to exceed 16 hours.” The questioning will be followed by 4 hours of argument, after which the Senate will vote on whether to subpoena additional documents or witnesses.

TEST

Democrats are complaining that the condensed schedule is a way for McConnell to “conceal the President’s misconduct in the dark of night.” In truth, it seems like he’s just as tired as most other Americans of the Dems’ false accusations and love of wasting time and money.

We’ll keep you updated as the trial proceeds over the next few days.
