(UnitedVoice.com) – There are a lot of rumors circulating about who might run in the Republican presidential primary. Former President Donald Trump, Senator Marco Rubio (FL), Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and many others have had their names thrown around. But one potential candidate, in particular, is raising some eyebrows lately.
On April 29, former Vice President Mike Pence visited South Carolina and gave his first public speech since leaving office. In June, he’ll head to Manchester, New Hampshire to headline the Hillsborough County GOP’s annual Lincoln Reagan fundraiser. That event is fueling more speculation that he is going to run for president in 2024.

New Hampshire is the first state to hold primary elections. If a candidate wins that race, it gives them early momentum. Pence has a solid conservative reputation and he did good work in the White House, there’s no doubt about that. The problem he might run into is that he angered many of Trump’s supporters and should he choose to run, he’ll need to earn their trust again. Of course, this is all speculation. First, the country needs to get through the 2022 midterms.
