(UnitedVoice.com) – Former President Donald Trump focused heavily on restoring America’s standing on the world stage during his time in the office. Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and former National Security Advisor Robert O’Brien played critical roles in the advancement of his agenda. According to recent news, that’s something they plan to continue doing moving forward.
On February 15, the Richard Nixon Foundation announced Pompeo and O’Brien are going to co-chair the organization’s new “seminar-style” foreign policy roundtable every month. The Nixon Seminar on Conservative Realism and National Security wants to discuss ways to “reassert and advance” former President Nixon’s agenda.

Presidents Trump and Nixon both firmly believed that US foreign policy should benefit America first. Pompeo and O’Brien will be valuable to the new advisory board because of their experience with policies that aimed to do that. Each month, the Seminar will publish its recommendations and send them to lawmakers in Congress and the Biden administration. What they do with the information remains to be seen.
