The proposed new law allows officials to more easily deny green cards to immigrants who have received or are likely to receive help from the welfare system or other public programs.
San Francisco and Santa Clara Counties are regularly among the top 10 US metropolitan areas with the most homeless people. Perhaps they should put more effort into helping citizens in their own cities instead of fighting to pay for immigrants. What happened to America first?
