Nancy Pelosi Draws LAUGHTER With Sickening Remark
(UnitedVoice.com) – One of the debates regarding abortion centers around when life begins. Democrats largely believe it’s when a fetus is viable outside the womb, whereas Republicans think it begins at conception. Recently, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) made a snarky comment about the GOP’s beliefs.
On Wednesday, September 14, Pelosi held her weekly press conference and discussed Senator Lindsey Graham’s (R-SC) proposal to impose a 15-week abortion ban. A reporter asked the Democrat what she thinks about most of the GOP not responding to the bill publicly or saying it’s an issue best left to the states.
The speaker responded that throughout August, the GOP said it was a state issue, but now “probably at the insistence of the MAGA grassroots,” they’re calling for a ban. She added that everyone has the right to believe what they want but then mocked some Republicans for allegedly thinking “life begins at the candlelight dinner the night before.”
Some members of the totally-unbiased press laughed at Pelosi’s joke.

Republicans have not responded to Pelosi’s insult. However, Graham is moving forward with the legislation.

The South Carolina senator knows the legislation has little chance of passing with Democrats in charge of both chambers of Congress. Still, he said he believes lawmakers will vote on the bill if the GOP takes back the majority.
