(UnitedVoice.com) – In the 2016 campaign, and since, never-Trumpers, Democrats, and the media have repeatedly tried to put Trump’s presidency in a coffin. With one concocted event after another, Trump’s run was deemed to be over multiple times. Yet, he’s still in office.
First, it was the Russian collusion hoax. Then, it was the Ukrainian call that led to an outrageous impeachment in the House, followed by acquittal in the Senate.
In just this year alone, they said COVID-19, and the economy would finally finish him off. That didn’t happen. Trump’s approval ratings have been positive through the pandemic.
The economy even seems to be rebounding as unemployment dropped, resulting in the largest monthly jobs gain ever recorded just a few weeks ago.
Just recently they said racial tensions over George Floyd’s murder by a former Minneapolis police officer would finally do him in.
Never-Trumpers, Democrats, and the media are so blinded by their biases that they can’t see the obvious in front of them. It plagued them in the 2016 election and it is happening again in 2020.
Silent Majority Growing
Over the last three years, Americans have watched as Democrats and never-Trumpers seek every opportunity to overturn the 2016 election. As they learn more about how the FBI and senior government officials attempted a coup, they are aghast.
Americans saw, or experienced, the over-handedness of Democratic governors and mayors through COVID-19. In some states, people were treated like they were criminals under house arrest, churches with Constitutional rights were wrongly penalized, and entire parts of the economy were destroyed.
A lack of empathy over livelihoods ensued when protestors expressed their Constitutional rights to petition their governments. Yet, some governors attempted to prevent protests and others said protestors were reckless, irresponsible, and were risking lives.
However, when it came time for the proper and rightful protests over racial injustice and police brutality in the wake of George Floyd’s police murder, there were no dissenting voices by those same governors. Instead, state officials marched with them as hypocrites, violating their own social distancing orders because they deemed it a worthy cause.
Now, Americans are horrified by how liberal governors are empowering far-left groups to overtake entire areas of cities like Seattle. At the same time, far-left groups and Democrats are calling for the defunding and elimination of police departments. In a new ABC News/Ipsos poll, 64% of Americans say they oppose the defunding of police. Yet, if you don’t stand up for Black Lives Matter, who is calling for defunding, you are not only wrong; you’re a terrible person and a racist.
Unfortunately, many people will never speak out about how they feel. They won’t tell pollsters and they certainly don’t like being called racists after voting twice for Barack Obama.
Is There Hope in November for Never-Trumpers, Democrats, and the Media?
Americans are telling pollsters that Trump’s going to win in November. He is well-positioned as the candidate who can bring the economy back — he’s done it before.
Also, Democrats are hurting themselves with their defund police movements and going too far on social issues beyond where mainstream America is at. Plus, Trump is tracking almost identically to George W. Bush and Barack Obama at the same time in their presidencies. Yet, the media is silent on that.
The truth is that elections are won and lost on passion and Trump’s voters are much more passionate about him compared to Joe Biden’s supporters. Will enough voters passionate about removing Trump show up for someone they aren’t excited about? Probably not.
If the riots continue, if cops are threatened, if bad actors quarantine our cities, then Trump will have the silent majority and win re-election. It may already be etched into people’s minds and the election may be Trump’s to win.
In five months, we’ll know for sure.
