(UnitedVoice.com) – If the Democratic Party is hoping Vice President Kamala Harris will become the first female president, they might need a new plan. Her poll numbers are not looking great. In fact, one survey reveals voters have major issues with her job performance.
According to a Morning Consult-Politico poll released on July 21, 47% of voters have an unfavorable opinion of Harris, while only 45% of respondents had a favorable view. Her unfavorability is up one point from the June poll where 46% of voters said they didn’t like her job performance.
In our latest poll, Joe Biden is above water with a 52% to 45% favorable to unfavorable rating. Kamala Harris is slightly below at 45% favorable, 47% unfavorable.

It’s not shocking Harris’ unfavorables are so high. The vice president was put in charge of the border crisis in March and she hasn’t done much to solve the problem. Hundreds of thousands of immigrants have flowed across the border since then. She didn’t even bother to visit until last month — and only because her hand was forced by former President Donald Trump.
Now, as the crisis rages on, she’s turned her attention to the Democratic Party’s partisan voting rights bill. It seems her apparent lack of concern about important issues is turning voters away. That doesn’t bode well for her political future. Democrats seem to want to push her as soon as President Joe Biden is out of office, but with poll numbers like that, their idea doesn’t seem likely to succeed.
