(UnitedVoice.com) – Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) is one of the most controversial figures in the Democratic Party. She’s vocal about her desire to vote out longtime Liberals in favor of more progressive candidates and often criticizes her own party. Former President Barack Obama is now lending her his support.
During an interview published on December 1, Obama told Vanity Fair’s Peter Hamby he believes AOC should have a more prominent role in the Democratic Party. The former president criticized the Democratic National Convention (DNC) for only allowing the progressive congresswoman to speak for “three or five minutes.” He said her message resonates with a lot of younger Americans and the party should “give her a platform.”
Believe it or not, some Republicans, like Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC), agree.

Senator Graham knows that if AOC is given the opportunity, she will show the American people exactly why they shouldn’t vote for the Left. After all, the party suffered massive losses in 2020 because of her radical ideas.
