(UnitedVoice.com) – Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) has been a Democratic target since before she entered Congress. After her disagreement with Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), Progressives have been even more annoyed with her. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) is now attacking the freshman congresswoman.
The drama started when Boebert posted a photo on Twitter with her children holding guns. The congresswoman was showing support for Rep. Tom Massie (R-KY) who’d faced backlash for posting a similar photo.
AOC retweeted a photo of the GOP congresswoman’s family, claiming the Republican Party is erasing the meaning of Christmas by using the holiday to “flex violent weapons for personal political gain.”

The Democratic congresswoman continued her rant in a separate tweet, accusing her colleague of posing in front of a Christmas tree but not being able to name the Wise Men’s gifts. Boebert, not one to take attacks from the Left lying down, responded that AOC was using her position in Congress to attack her children. She went on to tell the Democrat it isn’t a good look.
Boebert has always been a strong supporter of the Second Amendment. It’s one of the positions that convinced voters to choose her. The photo of her children with their guns actually proves she’s a responsible gun owner. All of the kids had the barrels pointed up and none of them had their fingers on the trigger. Still, she got backlash from the Left, which claims it wants to promote gun safety, not take away the weapons entirely.
