(UnitedVoice.com) – Millions of Americans are hurting right now. Many are out of work and can’t afford to pay for food or rent. Small businesses are struggling, too. They really need some help, and they need it now. So what are Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats doing about it? They’re playing games.
Democrats and the GOP have been at a stalemate for weeks over the new stimulus package. The Dems want to spend $3.5 trillion, but Republicans are only willing to give $1 trillion. Democrats have suggested meeting in the middle. So far, Republicans say it’s a nonstarter.
The problem is much of the money Democrats want would go to bail out poorly-run blue states. They’re going to have to let go of their Liberal wish list and do what’s right for the American people. But will they? Doesn’t look like it.
US HOUSE SPEAKER PELOSI SAYS IT WILL BE A VERY SHORT (COVID-19 STIMULUS) CONVERSATION IF THE WHITE HOUSE IS NOT WILLING TO MEET IN THE MIDDLE; SAYS DEMS ARE NOT "BUDGING" AND THE WHITE HOUSE HAS TO MOVE

On Thursday, August 27, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) said the Dems are “not budging” in the negotiations. She said this right before a meeting with White House Chief of Staff, Mark Meadows, who she flippantly called “what’s-his-name” earlier in the day. That’s how seriously she’s taking this.
Hang in there, America. The Democrats are blocking help — and it doesn’t look like relief is happening any time soon.
