(UnitedVoice.com) – In 2014, California police arrested John Mordecai Scott, now 65, on suspicion of showing inappropriate photos to a student. The piano teacher also took photos of the child who was under the age of 14. Police soon uncovered more crimes and now a jury has finally handed down a verdict in the case.
On March 14, an Orange County jury found Scott guilty of molesting eight girls over a period of 20 years. The jurors determined he was guilty of committing lewd acts on a child, using a minor for sex acts, continuous abuse and more than 20 other charges. He reportedly committed the acts in his home where he gave piano lessons to children. He’s facing 111 years in prison for the crimes.
